Cary Jennings maintained an integrated tax law and estate planning practice with Broude Jennings & McGlinchey, providing comprehensive representation to individuals seeking assistance with personal estate and asset protection planning and to fiduciaries and beneficiaries in matters relating to estate settlement and trust management. Certified in Tax by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Cary also assisted clients with federal and state tax matters and represented both for-profit and nonprofit entities in connection with formations, reorganizations, sales, mergers and acquisitions, providing insight into succession issues as well as tax planning counsel at all stages. Cary’s tax practice was enhanced by six years of service as a trial attorney with the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice, which experience he leveraged in representing clients in tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service and the Texas Comptroller’s office.
Among other accolades, Cary received the Assistant Attorney General’s Award for Outstanding Service in 1986. From 1992 until 2000, he served the City of Fort Worth as a member of the Zoning Commission, chairing the Commission for the last four of those years before transitioning to service on the Plan Commission from 2000 until 2002.
