Janna Clarke has been an engaged member of the Fort Worth legal community since her graduation from Texas Tech School of Law in 1984. She has served as president of both the Tarrant County Woman’s Bar Association and the Tarrant County Bar Association (TCBA) and as a member of TCBA’s Professionalism Committee and Nominating Committees. A life fellow of both the Tarrant County Bar Foundation and the Texas Bar Foundation, Janna was a charter fellow of the former and will serve on the Board of Directors of the latter beginning in June 2016. Within the State Bar of Texas (SBOT), she has served on the board of directors and chaired SBOT’s Standing Committee for Local Bar Services and Board of Directors for the Texas Legal Protection Plan. Since 2013, she has served as a delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates.
In addition to maintaining an active family law practice, Janna represents litigation clients in general civil and commercial litigation matters, construction professionals with respect to a host of transactional and litigation issues, and commercial lenders in connection with foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings. She has handled appeals at the state level and is experienced in drafting concise and on-point briefs and delivering persuasive oral arguments.
Outside of her professional activities, Janna is a dedicated community volunteer and serial public servant: a graduate of Leadership Fort Worth, she is a former police officer and the former mayor pro tem of the city of Keller who currently occupies the position of president of the Greater Keller Women’s Club Foundation.
